The second season of the Marvel Studios animated series What If…? has not only seen the return of fan-favorite characters like Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, and Thor, but it also introduced the MCU’s newest here- Kahhori.

For those who haven’t seen the episode yet (small spoiler), Kahhori is a young Mohawk woman who is introduced in the season’s sixth episode. That story imagines “what if the Tesseract crash landed in the Haudenosaunee Confederacy in pre-colonial America.”
Could We See Kahhori in Live-Action?
In the series, Kahhori is voiced by Devery Jacobs. While What If…? characters have primarily stayed within the realm of animation, as Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness showed, they are part of the same universe. So, would Jacobs consider portraying her character in live action?

“I just love this character of Kahhori so much and would love to be able to bring her to life, whether that’s live-action or whether that’s through animation. I’ll always be there for that,” she says.
Jacobs Will Also Appear in ‘Echo’
Interstingly, Jacobs’ is set to play a character named Bonnie in the upcoming Marvel Spotlight series Echo. While Jacobs has confirmed that the characters are not related, she doesn’t believe that portraying Bonnie in live-action would preclude her from also portraying Kahhori, should that character make the jump out of animation.

“I have been really fortunate to play the character Bonnie in the new Echo series,” Jacobs told Collider. “I don’t know, they’ve brought other people back in multiple roles. So I leave that up to the higher-ups at the MCU.”
For now, fans must make do with seeing Kahhori’s story continue in What If…? However, based on the strong reaction to the character, perhaps we will see more of the Mohawk warrior soon.
